Hi, I’m Veleria Boaten. Folks call me Val. I’m the Founder and Principal Consultant of The KaiCon Group, a Social Media Consulting Firm. I come with over 17 years of experience in Information Technology. I see the role of Information Technology and Social Media as being pivotal in the communication strategies of small businesses and non profit organizations. I also believe that Social Media Consultants are needed to bridge the technical gaps that so many small business owners encounter in utilizing Social Media effectively.
I earned a Bachelors of Computer Engineering from Auburn University and a Masters of Science in Computer Science from Webster University in St. Louis, MO.
Outside of my love for social media, I’m a wife and mother/chauffeur of 3 active boys. Our family is also actively involved in our local church.
